Q&A
What led you to pursue a career in manufacturing?
When I was a kid, I was introduced to manufacturing early on through some of CCAT’s old programs such as Manufacturing Mania. This introduced me to the world of manufacturing, and that led me to where I am today.
What has your journey been like?
I have had an interesting journey that you wouldn’t think could lead to a career in manufacturing. In high school I decided I wanted to become a computer science major in college and that’s exactly what I did. But I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with my degree. Now that I’m about halfway to earning my degree, I decided to get an internship in the manufacturing field.
What have you learned about yourself?
I have learned through college and my time at CCAT what I want to do with my future as well as what I enjoy to do specifically in a work environment.
Do you have any advice for people interested in a career in manufacturing?
Manufacturing is such a vast and unique field with so many different opportunities. Try it. There is no limit to what you can do.
What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy playing sports, specifically basketball and football. I also like to hang out with my friends and play video games.
